2013 year. Nadia and Sonya recently moved from St. Petersburg to Moscow. The best friends are happy with life: parties until the early morning, midnight walks through the snowdrifts, and their simple daily routine. But one day Nadia, a talented...
marketer, decides to change her workplace. By pure coincidence, she gets a job at a company that produces Orthodox jewelry. Knowing nothing about Orthodox culture, Nadia often finds herself in funny situations and struggles to get used to the professional jargon ("Girls, do you know if the Lord with the apostles has already arrived at the warehouse?"). However, the more time passes, the more she becomes fond of this world. The main character somewhat resembles Fleabag from the eponymous series: she loves to have affairs and has a "second adult rank for infidelities." The new environment, and most importantly – her new acquaintance Nikita, make Nadia rethink her attitude towards love. Meanwhile, a drama is brewing: Nadia and Sonya are in love with the same guy, that very Nikita. Henceforth, they spend all their time together only as a trio, and Nadia becomes completely confused about her feelings. "Marketer from God" is like "Conversations with Friends" set in Moscow in the early 2010s, infused with nostalgia for that time. Ekaterina Kakurina graduated from the Higher Literary Courses of the Gorky Literary Institute. A graduate of the Master's program in Literary Art at the Faculty of Philology of the Higher School of Economics. A finalist of the literary prize "Debut" (2010) and the prize "Licey" (2020).
