Dog Forest

Summer of 1961. A girl goes missing in a small factory village. Six-year-old Valka and his friend Mia set out to find her in Dog Forest.

A detective story with elements of thriller, horror, fantasy, social prose, and childhood memories — all of this forms the basis for an exciting tale about the unconscious and collective memory. 
Aleksandr Gonorovsky is a writer and screenwriter, a nominee for the awards "Big Book," "Golden Globe," "Nika," "Golden Eagle," holder of the main prize in the competitive program "Horizons" at the Venice Film Festival, and a laureate of the national film critics' award "White Elephant." The film "The Edge" based on Gonorovsky's script was submitted from Russia for the "Oscar" award.
