Fazil Iskander is a humanist writer and philosopher for whom the preservation of the soul, the spiritual moral core of a person, conscience and freedom, the ability of a person to spread their own wings so that life itself turns into a free and beautiful flight are important. The novellas "The Stop of a Person" and "Pshada", the stories "The Gold of Wilhelm" and "Writer's Day" tell about the drama of the Soviet person who experienced the revolution and the Great Patriotic War, which influenced the formation of the Soviet space and thinking, the ability of a person, despite the traumas, to live and think independently, to fantasize and to fly.
