Georgian Language. Self-Study Guide

This self-study guide is intended for those who are independently learning the Georgian language. It allows the development of speaking skills necessary for communication and reading simple literature, and mastering the basics of grammar: the lessons of the self-study guide familiarize with the grammatical features of the language, as well as with commonly used conversational household vocabulary. Having mastered it, one can easily navigate any situation when directly communicating with the residents of Georgia. For quick memorization of common speech constructions, carefully read the selections with lexical material, which is accompanied by transliteration (the thematic list is provided in the table of contents). 

In each lesson of the self-study guide, you will find descriptions of the lexical-grammatical categories of all parts of speech, exercises for memorizing the studied material, texts using active speech structures. To check the exercises completed, lesson keys are provided at the end of the book. The lessons of the self-study guide are supplemented by a dictionary that can be used to translate unfamiliar words encountered in the exercises. The book also contains information of a geographical nature, which will undoubtedly be useful during a trip to Georgia.
