Witch Solveig has been collecting and carefully storing other people's dreams for four hundred years: small and big, unusual and the most secret, offering in exchange for them eternal life. In her spare time, she sells ice cream in a shop called "The Van" in a welcoming seaside town. Solveig's life seems like a fairy tale, but is eternity, without one's own desires and hopes, really that beautiful? Pondering this question, Solveig spends day after day, until the northern wind brings an unusual guest to the doorstep of "The Van" – a traveling salesman from England, who dreams of trying the most delicious ice cream in the world.
