Maria Makeeva is a well-known journalist, the editor-in-chief of two independent television channels, a laureate of several journalism awards – she is used to dealing with news, with stories that are verified and precise. Perhaps that's why her created phantasmagoria "shines through" with realistic, recognizable allusions, allowing the reader to relate to the characters. In her book, which begins and unfolds in Latvia, you will encounter a man with bear ears, an all-consuming Black Cloud, an elegant devil, as well as a beautiful girl who can read minds and move through space. The main character faces a moral choice – he must commit murder or die himself. His reflections on this matter are woven into a series of incredible events, the outcome of which could either ruin the world or save it.
