Dragon

Evgeny Lvovich Schwartz (1896—1958) — a "non-children's" fairy tale writer who captivated adult readers, the author of more than twenty plays and film scripts, reinterpreting famous plots by Charles Perrault and Andersen.
The play "Dragon" is a parable about the struggle against totalitarianism and dictatorship. The main character, Lancelot, fights not only against the monstrous dragon but also against the inner fears and apathy of the city's inhabitants, who have long been under the power of a terrifying creature.
The book also includes the plays "The Naked King", "The Snow Queen", and "The Shadow".
