Thus Spoke Zarathustra

"Thus Spoke Zarathustra" is perhaps the most famous and widely read work of Nietzsche. For Nietzsche himself, "Zarathustra" is the main work of his life, dividing his creative biography into the periods "before" and "after." The philosopher's attitude toward this work was exceptional. "I have discovered my 'New light,' of which no one yet knew," Nietzsche wrote. And indeed, the book carries such exceptional energy that not only Nietzsche himself felt it, but also many generations of his readers. Therefore, this book is a key to understanding all the texts of the great philosopher, for it "calls not so much for understanding with the mind, but for experiencing in the soul, which alone can form a kind of organ of perception necessary for comprehending all other books of Nietzsche." It is no coincidence that we begin the publication of the texts of the great German with this work, often referred to as Nietzsche's Bible.
