Romanian Tales and Legends

This edition includes twenty-seven wonderful Romanian tales. They tell of extraordinary events that happened to peculiar beings, of distant kingdoms, of unseen magic, and of valiant warriors. In these tales, folklore motifs from different peoples resonate, and at the same time, they possess something special that sets them apart from others. The collection is adorned with illustrations by two English artists who worked at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries.
