Petersburg Stories

The collection includes "Petersburg Stories" by the classic of Russian and world literature Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol (1809–1852): "Nevsky Prospect", "The Nose", "The Portrait", "The Overcoat" and "Memoirs of a Madman", as well as two "non-Petersburg" stories: "The Carriage" and "Rome",... traditionally printed together with them according to the author's intent. The book is illustrated with 132 drawings by artists Igor Emmanuilovich Grabar (Khrabrov) (1871–1960), Nikolai Andreevich Zubchaninov (1866–1908), Dmitry Nikolaevich Kardovsky (1866–1943), Alexei Ilyich Kravchenko (1889–1940), Ralph Fedorovich Stein (1854–1896) and 28 engravings by actor Vasily Nikolaevich Andreev-Burlak (1843–1888).
