Ruslan and Lyudmila. The Song of the Prophet Oleg. Tales

The collection includes ten works by A. S. Pushkin: the poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila" with a preface by literary historian M. G. Khalansky, the poem "The Song of the Prophet Oleg" and eight poetic tales, including "The Tale of the Priest and His Worker Balda". At the end of the collection, this tale is also provided, revised in 1840 for censorship reasons by Zhukovsky, with illustrations from the magazine "Shut". The texts of all the tales are adorned with magnificent drawings by eight artists, including such masters of book illustration as I. Ya. Bilibin, B. V. Zvorikin, and V. M. Vasnetsov.
