Flashback of Dreams

Sam is a modern American high school girl who has no desire to meet her mother's high expectations. Korean Priscilla, a former cheerleader, expects her daughter to strive to be the best in everything. But Sam feels that her mother... doesn't care about her feelings.
After a strong argument, she tries to run away from Priscilla, but instead, she is thrown back. Very far back.
To her horror, Sam ends up in the 90s... and finds herself in the same class as seventeen-year-old Priscilla. Now Sam has to deal with outdated technology and even more outdated views, along with feelings for the mysterious football player Jamie.
Time goes on, and Sam must figure out how to mend her relationship with her mom and help her, or else she risks getting stuck in the past forever. However, her friendship with Priscilla makes Sam doubt everything she knew about her mom... and about herself.
