For the first time in over forty years, I, private detective Pavel Sinichkin, met my father. But soon the newly found parent disappeared again, and the circumstances under which he went missing made Rimma and me think the worst. Together with my assistant and partner, I immediately rushed to the seaside resort town where my father worked as an undercover officer during the Soviet Union. There, a strange knot of his criminal and romantic relationships formed. But why did he return there after forty years? Why and where has he disappeared now?
