Beyond Good and Evil

Friedrich Nietzsche is one of the most famous and unlucky European philosophers. Throughout his life, he struggled with diseases, worked against the odds, and was not accepted by either his colleagues or his loved ones. After his death, his ideas were distorted and simplified, and his name became associated with fascist ideology, despite the fact that he had nothing to do with it. "Beyond Good and Evil" can be called the quintessence of Nietzsche's philosophy. In this work, he shares his experiences regarding diseases and the decay of European society, as well as reflects on methods of their "treatment". His contemporaries perceived his views as "godlessness" and "immorality", although the philosopher merely suggested freeing oneself from the dominance of labels, overcoming hypocrisy, and renewing social norms and morality. The philosopher's calls are quite relevant even today, as in the chaos of values, concepts, and norms, it is more important than ever to discern what is distorted and imposed, and what is truly necessary to be perceived with a free and active mind in order to become the master of one's own life.
