The end of the school year has been challenging for Katya Kanaeva.  
Her best friend is hiding something, her parents are simply avoiding her, and a grade... of three in physics threatens to ruin her vacation.  
She has to study hard to improve her grades and perhaps go to another country for the summer.  
Completely unexpectedly, Katya signs up for an audition for the school choir to be closer to the soloist David Perov.  
He is the star of the school and a heartthrob. All the senior girls are in love with his divine voice, and Katya is no exception.  
She dreams of singing a duet with him. But how can she do that if she has never performed on stage?
