A sip of water, a final glance at the papers. You quickly adjust your suit, smooth your hair with your palm, stand up, and approach the podium. The hall is filled with tense silence. You can hear the rustling of... the case pages in your hands and the creaking of the old floorboards, polished by an endless number of feet. You take a deep breath, smile not too provocatively but confidently, and begin your speech: “Ladies and gentlemen of the jury...”.In Fabula Rasa, players need to create and remember a constantly changing story, with the plot based on cards featuring images. The first player receives five cards and, based on them, invents a plot and recounts it to the other participants, taking turns playing cards and stacking them. When the story is complete, the turn passes to the next player, and the stack is flipped over. The new narrator must recall the first player's story from memory or invent their own based on the cards in the stack and their sequence. As the game progresses, additional cards will be added to the plot, while some elements will disappear. Thus, your story constantly changes, acquiring new meanings and plot twists that can be tricky to keep track of. The game actively involves you in the unfolding narrative and can provide plenty of fun or heart-wrenching memories. You can effortlessly turn the narrative into a dynamic action movie, a campfire horror story, or a witty stand-up routine. Game duration: 15 to 30 minutes
