Jess Brightwell and his friends did the impossible and overthrew the ruler of the Great Library. But their struggle is not over. The Archivist plans to return to power. And the Library itself is under siege from external kingdoms and empires. Now its very existence is at stake. Jess and his friends must unite once again. This time they must decide whether to continue the work of the Library or to destroy everything it represented.
