A Trace on Wet Asphalt

Returning from work, engineer Igor Panteleevich Pozharsky is hit by a car. Right in front of his son Kolya. The "Victory" car sped away from the scene at high speed, but the boy managed to notice that a woman was behind the wheel. His father had a briefcase, which strangely disappeared as soon as random witnesses came to help. They all unanimously claimed that it was not a "Victory," but an "emka," driven by a man in military uniform. Why such a discrepancy? What if this accident is not accidental... Together with his friends, Kolya decides to conduct his own investigation and find out who and why was trying to harm his father...
