One-Story America

Travel essays "One-Story America" – the last work of Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov, written in 1936. The writers traveled across the country from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean and back, creating a picture of America and Americans filled with brilliant humor. The essays were translated into many languages of the world, but were published in Soviet Russia only twenty years after they were written.
