Lyut

On the island of Lyut, there is an idyll. Its inhabitants do not know poverty or illness, and the raging war around them does not threaten them. But a peaceful life comes at a price — and every seven years,... a special day of the summer solstice arrives, Day "D," when the island takes seven lives. Nina arrived on the island recently. Seven years ago, she married Lord Tredue, whose family has long protected the island. On this Day "D," she planned to leave the island with her husband and children to wait out the dangerous time at a safe distance. But the island did not allow them to leave. And now Nina, her family, the locals, and the tourists who happened to be here must spend Day "D" on Lyut — and survive until sunset.
