"Rebellious Angel" is an autobiographical novel-essay that takes us through space and time: before us unfold scenes of his childhood in Sarajevo, descriptions of a country ravaged by war, a journey to Stockholm for the awarding of the Nobel Prize to Peter Handke. In it, philosophical reflections on modernity and the fate of his homeland are replaced by thoughts on the path of the artist and the search for truth — and above all this hovers a passionate spirit of freedom.
