Electric Kingdom

A virus carried by flies is rampant in the world. Giant swarms of insects sweep everything in their path, devouring people and animals while infecting survivors with a dreadful disease. Infrastructure is destroyed, and cities have turned into ruins. The... few who survived hide in the depths of the forest. Among them is a scientist who endlessly tells his daughter Nico the legend of a mysterious geological anomaly discovered in Manchester, in the waters of the Merrimack River.
When the scientist's wife dies from the virus and he himself is seriously ill, Nico, along with her faithful dog Harry, sets off to Manchester in search of this very anomaly. Along the way, she meets other kids heading in the same direction. Each of them has their own story, but they all mysteriously intertwine. The kids must connect the found keys, and a mysterious Deliverer helps them, who lives Life after Life in an attempt to direct events into the needed course.
