Angle of Repose

Wallace Stegner won the Pulitzer Prize for the novel "Angle of Repose," and this book rightfully considered the pinnacle of his work. Lyman Ward, an elderly man confined to a wheelchair, decides to sort through the archives of his grandparents and recreate the story of their lives. His grandfather, an engineer, and his grandmother, an artist and writer, were pioneers of the American West. However, while trying to understand the twists and turns of their fates, Ward involuntarily plunges into the contemplation of his own life.
