Doctor Mats Kruger could not refuse his daughter Nele's request to be with her when her first child was born, and with a heavy heart he decided to take a long flight from Buenos Aires to Berlin.

The doctor was terrified of flying and did not expect anything good from this trip, but even in his worst nightmare, he could not have imagined how much of a nightmare it would turn out to be for him. 

At an altitude of nine thousand meters, he was informed that his pregnant daughter had been kidnapped, and he must find his former patient on the plane and provoke her into reckless actions, otherwise Nele would die. 

In the confined space of the airplane, Mats is faced with the challenge of how to save his daughter without committing a crime, while on the ground he is being assisted by a woman who once loved him.
