The Science of Winning

"The Science of Winning" is a brilliant work by the greatest Russian military commander Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov (1730-1800). The book serves as a universal guide, succinctly outlining the essence of the Suvorov system of effective training and education of troops, as well as the fundamental rules of his military strategy and tactics. It is precisely because of these rules and this system that the troops under Suvorov's leadership achieved numerous victories and suffered no defeats. The edition also includes works by major Russian military theorists dedicated to Suvorov's "Science of Winning" (Dragomirov M.I., Gerua A.V., Golovin N.N., Kersnovsky A.A.), memoirs of contemporaries (Davyidov D.V.), autobiography, and aphorisms of A.V.
