Strangeness

1931, Mars, New Galveston. When Silence fell on the planet, destroying all communications between Earth and the Martian colony, it froze, paralyzed by fear. Anabelle Crisp was working at her father's diner when a gang led by Silas Mundt attacked... the city. The Crisps were robbed, but most importantly, they took the recording of her mother’s voice, who remained on Earth. Driven by despair and rage, Anabelle sets out on a journey to catch the thieves and retrieve the only item dear to her heart. Accompanied by a loyal robot, an eternally drunk outcast space pilot, and a heavily armed mercenary, Anabelle must traverse an abandoned mining town where the locals have mutated due to the influence of a mineral called Strangeness. The travelers also face a desert and the dark Peabody crater, where wild machines roam. Soon the travelers will discover that Mars hides many secrets, and New Galveston, once a safe haven, has now become a smoking candle in a world that devours darkness.
