Reconstruction

A novel about the interaction of power, business, education, and culture, about the customs and principles of decision-making in high offices that had developed by the 2000s.
The simple example of the narrative about the reconstruction of a Moscow cultural institution... and the reflections, actions, and doubts of its director illustrates the psychological portrait of the surrounding reality in which we lived just a few years ago and which should remain in the past.
The action takes place in Moscow from 1988 to 2015. The plot is based on real events. The names of key characters and some topographical names have been changed, but they have real prototypes.
