Fifty years ago, a mysterious Event forever changed reality. Across the planet, electricity opened rifts through which monsters began to invade the world. Now, people are united only by the desire to survive at any cost.

Sixteen-year-old Kaya has adapted well... to the harsh conditions. Being skilled with weapons since childhood, the girl wants to stand alongside the boys to protect her home settlement. In contrast, the timid Artem is more aligned with the values of the old world: he loves to read and dreams of pursuing science. Despite their differences, the guys decide to embark on a dangerous journey together to unravel the mystery of the rifts. But they have no idea what awaits them along the way.
