Savannah Cade's dreams are coming true. Her manuscript is wanted by Claire Donovan — the editor-in-chief of the most successful publishing house in the country, specializing in romantic literature. The only problem is: Savannah works as an editor at another publishing house that exclusively prints high-artistic works, and her new boss, William Pennington, the son of the CEO, despises love stories.
In order not to reveal herself, Savannah is forced to temporarily hide her manuscript in a secret place. But upon returning for it, she is horrified to discover that someone not only visited her secluded spot but also left editorial notes in the margins – all quite relevant.
When it turns out that Claire will soon retire and Savannah has only six weeks to finalize the novel, the help of the anonymous editor comes in very handy.
