We do not choose how to be born. No one asks us how we would like to look before coming into the world. When you are unlike others, humiliation from peers eventually becomes routine, and you inevitably harden, while your heart fills with dark hatred. There is no fear — it is washed away by an endless stream of tears.

Upon entering university, I changed my appearance to avoid drawing attention. I thought it worked until I discovered that there is a person who sees right through me. And this person is the most frightening and unpredictable of the students.
