The Seventh Reader

Everyday life. Year 1999. Fang Mu is a third-year student at the Pedagogical University of Changchun. His life is no different from that of his classmates, and the most dreadful problem is the looming exams. But everything changes when the university is shaken by news of a monstrous murder: one of the students is strangled in the bathroom of the student dormitory. Moreover, the deceased lived in the same room as Fang Mu.
Despair. Soon after the excitement surrounding the incident subsides, a new tragedy occurs. The class's first beauty is found dead after falling from the twenty-fourth floor. The police lean towards the version of suicide, but when two more students die, it becomes clear: that's not the case. Moreover, the killer has developed a taste for murder and has no plans to stop.

And all the others on the list are in mortal danger…
