Beatrice Archer follows the rules: she builds a career in a large Los Angeles company, strictly monitors herself, gives up her personal life and keeps her mouth shut. Her world is turned upside down when the coveted promotion goes to someone else. Beatrice quits her job and moves to a small town. She no longer wants to be predictable and reasonable.
