Richard "Dodge" Forthrust, millionaire founder of a famous video game company, dies in an accident. According to the terms of the will, his brain is scanned and structural information is uploaded into a data warehouse in hopes of further development of technology. Years pass, and Dodge's digitized consciousness is connected to Bitmir - an eternal afterlife in which people exist as digital souls in simulacra bodies.
