Room with a riddle

A series of strange events shook the city outskirts. Kolka Pozharsky heard someone else's footsteps in the room of his lonely neighbor Tatyana Brusnikina and rushed to catch the thief, but he escaped. And after a while, a corpse fell from a passing train onto an embankment; as it turned out later, it was a fire inspector who also came to see Brusnikina. Soon the same Tatiana had a twelve-year-old daughter. She was considered dead during the war... Police captain Nikolai Sorokin does not believe in coincidences. Together with Kolka and his friends, the operatives decide to take a closer look at the lonely woman and her mysterious apartment...
