Storage Room

Nyuta Federmesser is a well-known Russian public figure, founder of the Charitable Foundation for Hospice Assistance "Faith," named after her mother, doctor Vera Vasilyevna Millionshchikova, one of the founders of the hospice movement in Russia. For almost two decades, Nyuta has been recording everything she can from a crazy list of events and meetings, so that one day she can stop, go back, read again, to preserve memory. In the book "Storage Room," tiny stories are collected: marginal notes, excerpts from a diary, attempts to convey strong emotions, records of personal reflections and memories, dreams, aspirations, travel notes — about what is close and important to all of us: about love and sorrow, about accumulated pain, about kindness and joy, about the reasons for one's irritation and fatigue, about happiness, about the bitterness of partings, about the connection between parents and children, about faith, tenderness, and compassion.
