1972. Moscow was shaken by a series of brutal murders of art workers: a famous singer, a renowned conductor, and a popular artist. In each case, the robbers stole unique collections – jewelry, rare books, coins... The investigation is entrusted... to Captain MUR Ivan Egorov. He immediately identifies common features in all three crimes. All the victims were cultural figures, all were killed in their apartments in the same way: the victims had their cervical vertebrae broken.
