Fables

Ivan Andreyevich Krylov (Russian writer, poet, publicist) is primarily known as the author of more than two hundred fables that reflect the age-old wisdom of the Russian people, their life philosophy, and morals. Funny, and at the same time serious, they remain relevant even today. Many lines from the famous works of the great fabulist have become proverbial, and the names of the heroes have become common nouns.
