The past and present of the country intertwine in the fates of the heroes - a young girl making her first timid steps in theatrical directing, and a successful businessman who has lived a difficult life. Behind him is an... entire generation. Immigrants from the slums who have fought their way to the top and achieved everything that can only be dreamed of, while forgetting how to feel. In an attempt to break free from poverty, to forget their own miserable childhood, they entered a mad race, sooner or later stopping to understand why and where they are running and what they are trampling on others' heads for. For the happiness of their children? Do their children need such happiness? And what is the happiness of the new generation? Do the young find the meaning that their fathers have lost?
