Tales in the Masterpieces of Russian Illustration

Zvorykin (1872-1942) and many others - before the revolution, their works were no less famous than the legendary illustrations of Ivan Bilibin. Today, the books they illustrated have become collectible rarities.
The majority of the illustrations presented in this edition return for the first time in a whole century - as do some Russian fairy tales that are practically unknown to the modern reader: "The Wooden Eagle", "The Tsar's Pearl", "The Mosquito and the Swallow"...
