Italy, 1943. Eva Rosselli seeks refuge within the walls of a monastery. Her last hope is her childhood friend and first love, priest Angelo Bianco. He helps many refugees whom the Catholic Church hides from the Gestapo. For Angelo and Eva, only life and death remain, now and never. They no longer doubt their feelings.
