Commanding a fleet is not easy. Especially in space. But you have everything you need for that! Gather powerful troops under your command and spread your influence throughout the galaxy!

"Star Empires" is a deck-building game with a space theme for 1-6 players. Players will need to assemble their fleet, equip bases and outposts, and then attack each other to reduce their opponent's influence points. All players begin on equal footing with a personal deck of ship cards. By purchasing cards for their deck and using various combinations of cards with unique properties, players devise their own strategy during the game: developing defenses against opponent attacks and looking for breaches in the opponent's defenses. You can use strength, cunning, or wealth, but to win, all players will equally need skill, intuition, and cold calculation!

How to play?

All players start the game with a personal deck of ship cards. Each turn, participants play cards from their hands, thus performing trade operations, combat actions, and expanding their zones of influence. The turns consist of three phases (Main, Discard, and Draw), after which a new turn begins.

In the main phase, you can play cards, use various properties, make purchases, and attack your opponent. The cards can be of several types – ships and bases. Their actions differ significantly. Ship properties are activated immediately, while the card remains in play until the end of your turn. Bases, on the other hand, do not get discarded; they remain in front of you until destroyed. Moreover, in addition to their properties and bonuses, outpost bases force the opponent to attack them first, thus protecting your other bases and you personally – the main target of the enemy.

Cards have various properties that are applied in different phases of the turn and give you unique bonuses or abilities, on which your victory strategy will be built. With the help of cards, you acquire combat, trade, or influence points – these are your main resources for the game.

Additionally, all cards belong to certain factions in the conflict. To use this feature, you must have played two or more cards of the same faction before you.

As the game progresses, you purchase cards using your trade points, adding these cards to your deck, increasing your power, and building a particular strategy for the game based on the acquired cards. Combat points are spent on launching attacks against opponents and essentially "redeeming" enemy bases. To destroy a base, you must spend as many combat points as indicated on the card in the "Defense" section.

Thus, turn by turn, you expand your deck and your capabilities, develop a victory plan, and try to guess the opponent's strategy.

Who won?

In the game, there are special Influence Points – this is your score or life points. According to the basic rules, each participant starts the game with 50 influence points. The player who first reduces the opponent's influence to zero becomes the winner.
