Card Game Evolution. Metamorphoses

To play, you need the base set "Evolution. New World." Just add the "Metamorphoses" expansion cards to the evolution deck. To fully unleash the potential of the new animal traits, we also recommend adding the "Butterfly Effect" expansion to the game. The "Metamorphoses" expansion cards have a caterpillar symbol in the top right corner of the text block. This allows you to easily separate them from the main deck.

DOUBLE LUNG

This trait will allow you to manipulate the FLOATING trait. Transitioning between land and water during the feeding phase will benefit both predators and herbivorous animals.

MIMICRY

Often the needed trait does not come into hand in time. MIMICRY will help you find it in the graveyard. The animal will acquire an unexpected trait right in the middle of the feeding phase.

ALARM SIGNAL

This trait does not directly protect the individual, but helps other, more valuable animals hide in a refuge. Moreover, you can attack it with your own predator!

ECHOLOCATION

Refuges protect against ordinary predators that rely on sight. They are useless against ECHOLOCATION. Additionally, ECHOLOCATION checks whether the malicious FISHERMAN has disguised itself as a defenseless animal without traits.

KLEPTOKNIDY

You are what you eat. KLEPTOKNIDY allows a predator that has eaten an animal without traits to not only gain food tokens but also possibly obtain a free trait.

DELIBERATE

This trait will tame an external dangerous predator, which will now have to become a vegan. You can also play DELIBERATE on your own animal to ease its food-gathering burdens.
