Before starting to embroider, the edges of the canvas should be processed by overlocking on a sewing machine or by hand.
Find the center. Determine it visually or fold the fabric in half twice and carefully mark the middle with a pencil. Insert the canvas into the embroidery hoop. Align the center of the canvas with the center on the pattern, marked with squares, a contrasting outline, and arrows.
Embroider with cross stitches using 4 strands. Secure the thread from the back. Avoid knots while working.
