The Fundamentals of Buddhism

The book was first published anonymously in 1927 in Urga (Ulan Bator). It was then republished in 1940 in Riga under the pseudonym "Natalia Rokotova," which belongs to Elena Ivanovna Roerich (1879-1955). This book contains an exposition of the ideas of early Buddhism in a simple and accessible form. These ideas found their continuation in the teachings of the Living Ethics (Agni Yoga). The publication is intended for those who are interested in Buddhism, the work of E. I. Roerich, and are on the path of spiritual development.
