The Settlement

Kira Bulychev (1934 - 2003) - one of the most famous Soviet science fiction writers, an orientalist, screenwriter and playwright. The novel "The Settlement" is an exciting "Robinsonade" of the descendants of those shipwrecked on another planet, forced to adapt to an alien world, coexist with the local nature and maintain the remnants of earthly civilization.
