On the wind-swept coastline of Maine, in a secluded cottage, Wilder Harlow begins his last book… This is the story of the sunny days of his childhood spent in Whistling Cove, and the cruel Killer with a dagger who instills fear in a small resort town. He sees things that cannot exist in reality – notes all over the house from a deceased friend, a strange woman sinking in the sea, and new chapters from the book mysteriously appearing overnight.
