Guardian Angel

Three peasant sons, three noble ladies — and an old estate in the Moscow region, where the events of their lives unfold throughout the 20th century. The estate of Angelovo is not just a backdrop for the action, but a... "center of power" for two great families, intertwined with love, loss, betrayal, selflessness, creativity, and happiness for the Kondratievs and the Angelovs. Everything that happens to the main characters, and later to their children and grandchildren, is shrouded in the mystique of the old house, the Oborotnevo wasteland, and the spring in the Angelov park. Perhaps, indeed, an Angel, who disappeared during the Civil War along with part of the family collection, but is invisibly present in the fates of the characters, protects this area? The basis for the novel was the script of a multi-part feature film.
