The world ended not with a nuclear explosion or a supervirus. One day, people simply vanished, as if someone had swept the pieces of an unfinished chess game off the board. But there remain solitary individuals, forgotten by an unknown force on the desolate planet. They cling to the elusive reality, live as they can, and have disturbing dreams. Dreams in which someone kills them… One by one.
