Terrifying events are taking place near Moscow: one after another, dead bodies of people are being found, horrifically mutilated, simply torn apart. Local residents complain that their pets have started to disappear, and someone is also brutally killing dogs... Rumors are spreading about a werewolf, a man-beast. The head of the "slaughter department" of the Moscow region, Nikita Kolosov, suspects from the very beginning that a new cruel maniac, a serial killer, has appeared. Journalist Katya almost agrees with him, but she is tormented by terrible doubts. She suspects where to look for the maniac, but she is afraid to believe her guesses...
