The Owl

A seventeen-year-old girl disappears from a shelter for troubled teenagers. Three months later, she is found dead on a bed of bird feathers, in a pentagram made of candles. Investigators Holger Munk and Mia Kruger have no doubt: this is murder, and it resembles some kind of ritual. While the homicide department is trying to find at least one lead, a mysterious video suddenly comes into the hands of Gabriel Merck, a young computer whiz from Munk's team.
